Alex has over 10 years of experience from the non-profit sector – including work with youth, persons with disabilities and now immigrants and newcomers. He is passionate about social and economic inclusion, and cultural diversity in New Brunswick. Alex represents the multicultural sector on several provincial committees and working groups. He currently serves as the Co-chair of the Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition Action Group, Co-chair of the Committee for Attraction and Retention of Highly Skilled Workers and Co-Chair of the provincial Long-term Integration Committee – established to improve access to services and overall inclusion for newcomers in New Brunswick. Alex is also a member of the Atlantic 21inc leadership network.
